About the Artist
David Lorenz Winston studied photography at Pennsylvania State University where he received a B.A. in art in 1965. His work reflects a lifelong love of the natural landscape and of human nature. While many of David's photographs are inspired by his travels to Siberia, Peru, India, Nepal, and Tibet, most of his work is from Pennsylvania and more recently, the Pacific NW where he now resides. Winston's images have been exhibited in numerous one person and group exhibits nationally. He has received many first place and best of show awards. David’s work is published by UNICEF, The National Wildlife Federation, Hallmark, Pomegranate Publications, Palm Press, Borealis Press, and Artists to Watch.
Unframed Print on Paper - printed on high quality 230 gsm smooth matte paper, with a 1 inch border and is unframed.
Unframed Print on Giclée Paper - printed on archival textured 245 gsm giclée paper and printed with 100 year archival light fast inks. Giclée paper prints include a 2" border around the image. This paper is similar to a traditional artist's watercolor paper and produces a very vibrant print. This product is not recommended for use with laminates.
Unstretched Canvas - printed on 400 gsm bright white cotton/poly blend canvas with a satin finish and a 2-over 1 weave which is highly durable, water proof, and scratch resistant. Canvas is printed with water resistant solvent inks that are vibrant with dense blacks and bright whites. Canvas prints include a 2" border around the image and are shipped rolled in a tube. This superior canvas delivers exceptional print quality and ease of stretching.
